Installed on the bicycle.
As the front basket prevents mounting the light on the handlebar, I made a Light Mount for the fork.
Spray Painted with 3 thin layers. Air Drying for 24 Hours before baking in the oven. 150 Deg C for 30 Minutes.
CRC Brakleen used for preparation and CRC Black Zink used for painting.
Ready for painting.
Final finishing before painting.
Test installation to check measurements.
The 25mm axle installed.
Additional holes have been drilled.
The pilot hole has been drilled to the correct size for the centre bolt and additional holes have been marked up.
A 25mm Axle has been cut to correct lenght and a pilot hole has been drilled in the centre.
The holes for the Centre Bolt have been drilled to correct size and countersunk.
A 6mm S/S Furniture Bolt is used for the Centre Bolt.
Cut to the correct lenght and drilled for the Fork Mounting Bolt.
Measurement is taken against the fork.
Radius is finished with a flat file.
Radius is cut ut with a hacksaw.
Radius is marked up.
Washers are used to mark up the radius.
3.0 mm Pilot Holes are drilled for the M6 Centre Bolt.
Cut with the hacksaw.
